YELLOW FINE ARTS
NINA GALLO
Nina was born and raised in Greenpoint/Williamsburg Brooklyn and now resides in Ridgewood, New York. Nina's photographs feed off of the low-rise / blue collar milieu and the diminishing resi-industrial landscape that long characterized what has become a hyper-gentrified Brooklyn. Her photographs are a witness to this evolution and evoke a simple, sincere, often poetic point of view through the people and places that inhabit her immediate and peripheral surroundings. Nina's more recent work has involved taking portraits of people on the street and she has also been taking photographs for 52 Frames.
